Silky O’Sullivan St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Saturday, March 16th
Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. Come out to the 46th Annual Silky O’Sullivan St. Patrick’s Day Parade – the largest in the city, right on historic Beale Street. Attendance is free, so grab a drink on Beale Street and come out to enjoy live music, floats, cars, dancers and more.
Memphis Redbirds Games
Opening Day Thursday, April 4th
Come out to Autozone park to see the back-to-back Pacific Coast League Champions, the Memphis Redbirds. Catching a game with this minor league baseball team is a favorite Memphis pastime, so spend a sunny day at the ballpark. Their season begins with a home game on April 4th and lasts until early September.
Peabody Rooftop Parties
Every Thursday beginning April 11th
Every April through August in Memphis the famous Peabody Hotel holds rooftop parties featuring live music, drinks, and a view of the city. Rooftop parties are held every Thursday night throughout the spring and summer, so if you find yourself in Memphis check out the amazing nightlife above the city.
Memphis Comedy Festival

The Memphis Comedy Festival returns this April, offering a weekend full of stand-up, improv, podcasts, and more. Comics come from all over the globe for this festival, and this year’s lineup includes comedians like Willie Macc, Peggy O’Leary, and many more. Tickets are on sale now!
Easter Eggstravaganza
Saturday, April 13th
The Children’s Museum of Memphis is hosting their Easter Eggstravaganza, a family-friendly event for children of all ages. This year’s Eggstravaganza starts with a pancake breakfast followed by crafts, face painting, pictures with the Easter Bunny, a scavenger hunt, and more fun and goodies for the kids.
Overton Square Crawfish Festival
Saturday, April 13th
Live music, beer, and crawfish provided by Bayou Bar and Grill – what more could you want? Come out to this free festival and buy all the drinks, crawfish, and merch your heart desires while local bands play. You can also participate in their Crawfish Eating Contest to win prizes and bragging rights for the year.

With over 70 teams entering their wings into a competition for best wings and other categories, you can try the South’s best hot wings. Africa in April Cultural Awareness Festival

Get an international perspective at the Africa in April Cultural Awareness Festival. This festival includes food, fun, and culture through a variety of mediums, including fashion, art, music, history, education, food, and a marketplace with a variety of goods.
Memphis in May International Festival
May 1st – May 31st
Perhaps Memphis’ most famous event, the Memphis in May Festival returns this May with a variety of events including the Beale Street Music Festival. Some big names coming to the music festival this year include Dave Matthews Band, G-Eazy, The Killers, Cardi B, and more.
Memphis becomes a cultural hub during the month of May, with art exhibits, food festivals and competitions, films, lectures, tours, and much more. The festival includes the city’s Bicentennial celebration on May 22nd, as the city celebrates its 200th year in style.
